About Me
Have quite an eccentric side but know perfectly well how to operate in the "normal" real world. A musician and mad scientist at heart, a carer, strong lover (Taurus), a hater of ego and many other things in ordinary life but fun to watch nonetheless. Hobbies are music, playing guitar, recording music, working out to feel good, running with my dog, read a lot of philosophy and religion/spirituality literature. Working a spiritual program is very important for me being that I'm in Recovery. 12-step programs ya know? So I won't be the guy to go bar hoppin' with. However there is a certain level of tolerance for other substances,,,,what the other person does is their business but it would be in my best interest to be with someone who doesn't have a hang up with substance use or better yet, understands what people in 12-step programs are trying to do (but of course that's not a requirement).
I do also keep up avidly with COLLEGE football. I'm a definite UGA dawg fan and alum.!!!
Goals are to return to graduate school next year possibly in phD program for Neuroscience or Master's of Social Work to be a counselor/therapist,,,not sure which of these worlds is my calling. For right now,,I'm a low income guy working until I can get into grad school and maybe teach afterward and then finally have a real freakin salaried job! So, I definitely am not one to have an exorbitant amount of money to put into the equation, so don't mistake me for some kind of bread winner.
Taste in music,,,hmmmm,,,well I have played in couple of progressive metal bands in Athens. we still have a spam page under the band name Hannibal but we are no longer a band. influenced by Rush, Tool, deftones, dream theater, smashing pumpkins, and so on but I also love the likes of Stevie Wonder, Tori Amos, prince, or anything that gets my DNA "humming".
As far as what I'm looking for in a woman,,,the way I see it, the creator is the best decider of that anyhow, but I guess she'd have to be on my wavelength to some extent, otherwise just know that I'm helluva sincere guy (not serious always though). Good with kids if you have them,,,,spontaneity is an art and necessary for healthy relationships, PUT IT TO YA THIS WAY, I dropped out of the ego game so long ago that most women don't know if I'm "for real" if that makes any f@$#ckin sense to you. my philosophy is that a good relationship is where each person helps the other to "grow" however you may define "grow"
I can be a bit of a "rascal" but that is countered by my incessant need to monitor responsibilities in life. so there you have it.
