About Me
Don't ask me for money, I was born in the day, not yesterday.
Right now, I'm looking for friends, because my circle of social contacts is severely lacking. I figure meeting some cool people and doing some fun stuff would be, well fun.
My hobbies involve creative things. I spend a great deal of time drawing and painting, particularly painting. I've been doing it for a few years now and am really big on honing my craft further. I like exploring things art related and love the different approaches/developments that can be undertaken. I like staying physically active and work out throughout the week. I'm a pretty good cook, and enjoy a wide variety of foods. Sports can be fun also.
I love conspiracy theory related stuff, anything esoteric and out there.
As for goals/aspirations, I sort of struggle with this as I am not the most goal oriented person out there. Actually, I don't use the word "goal oriented" to describe myself, I'm more about feelings, processes, nuances, impressions. My big focuses right now are on becoming a better artist and working on my CGA, what a combo, huh? I also want to learn how to sew, I've learned a few things, but I do plan on learning more.
I've always been more emotional than thinking (and I have a science degree) but that's how I am. I have no problem saying I'm in touch with my emotions and am quite comfortable with myself and with what interests me. My sense of humor is a bit dark and a bit crazy, but mostly in good taste, mostly.
Right now music wise, I'm listening to a lot of Joy Division/New Order, Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, Prince, and various New Wave/Synthpop. Music can be a tricky thing, especially if you've seen YouTube comments (that aren't from trolls), people get upset by even 1 dislike of a song and labeling/condemning people by what they like. I've gotten to the point where I'm just happy people have stuff that makes them happy, even if I don't like it. I'd like to meet someone likewise.
