After getting some responses from the distant 905/705/519 area codes, I should mention that much of what I enjoy doing and how I like to spend my time revolves around downtown, so we'll probably have a better chance of hitting it off (and spending time together) if you're in Toronto, too!
Hobbies? I like cycling, wandering (sometimes aimlessly) around the city, checking-out new bands, mellowing out with a coffee or beer at a cafe/lounge/patio, and just about anything else that sounds like it might be fun.
Integrity and honesty are very important to me, and should be to you, too. I believe that it's possible to be modern in tastes and beliefs but still subscribe to basic chivalry - I'll happily open the door for you. I've rarely dealt with regret, because often something good has come from me taking a chance.
Besides the heavy stuff in the previous paragraph, I've got a well-fed sense of humour, and I'm comfortable laughing at myself. Am I shy? Nope - parachute me into any social situation and I'll land on my feet, provided I don't hit any branches or hydro wires on the way down... I enjoy being challenged and am always trying to feed my mind.
I'm also the father of two happy and well-adjusted girls - 9 and 11 - who live with their mother.
