About Me
Not really new to GP, but newish to the dating scene. I'm not really looking to get involved with anyone, just interested in meeting people with similar interests. If we like each other, then we like each other, and we can see where it goes. No pressure.

I'm active; being fat is not on my list of goals. I love to swim, go on long walks with my dogs, and I enjoy the occasional gymnastics class. I used to compete competitively, now it's strictly on a for-fun basis. Jumping around on a trampoline and flipping & twisting into a foam pit is a blast!
I can also be lazy - I really enjoy watching movies and curling up on my couch to read a good book with a cup of tea.
I'm not into partying until 3am, drinking myself stupid, and in general making an ass of myself. I like small, comfortable gatherings with great friends, being silly, laughing, and remembering what happened the night before. I do drink occasionally, and I really should point out that by occasionally, I mean maybe once a year - maybe. I'm not a social drinker; I won't "grab a beer" with you, or "meet for drinks." I don't hold anything against people that enjoy alcohol, it's just not really my thing. While we're on the subject of "not my thing", I'm not a camper. I have to throw that out there since so many guys are....but really - bugs, fire, being cold, no showers, no bathrooms......yeah, not so much. So I suppose you could say I'm mostly a city girl. I do like the "day" stuff though: hikes, canoeing, boating, etc.
I don't like having to write this here, but if you smoke, please don't contact me. I'm allergic, and I won't want to be anywhere near you, because you'll smell awful and give me migraines. Also, gentlemen: have some self control with your stench. Please don't show up smelling like Sears. If you don't know what that means you're probably a lost cause, but I'll spell out the translation: If you spray yourself more than once, (a DAY, not an hour) it doesn't matter if it's an expensive cologne or not, you will smell cheap. It's not sexy; it's overpowering and it makes me want to vomit. I know that's blunt and tactless, but that's kinda my thing. Almost forgot to mention that. You'll probably need a thick skin to be friends with me.

A walk maybe? Grab some tea (or coffee for you coffee drinkers) and take a stroll on the trails...gives us a chance to talk and get to know each other. Plus, I can't think of anything else to do that allows you to bolt in any direction should the person you're meeting turn out to be boring, an ass, or an all-out psycho! ;)
