About Me
In my mundane life I am a - short, plump, red haired wench sharing her living space with two insane cats I have nicknamed "the hellspawn"; one is a gorgeous fluffy kitty who smacks my ankles if I'm not fast enough with the Fancy Feast, the other likes to climb all over me in an attempt to dominate me. The semi-suicidal bamboo plant is dead, it has successfully committed hari-kari. The only vegetation left in my apartment is some devil's ivy that insists on thriving despite my attempts at murder.
I enjoy playing World of Warcraft in my spare time, hanging out with friends, watching wacky movies. I am a sucker for BBC costume dramas and am addicted to Coronation Street.
I also enjoy travelling. Been to various European countries, Australia, Cuba and parts of the USA. I am not a "cottage person" and never shall be. Holidays should be for trying new locales, exploration and expanding one's mind...hanging out on a patio drinking beer and watching the mosquitoes bite is not my idea of a good time, nor is the idea of spreading myself out like a beached whale on a beach at a resort.
I have a quirky sense of humour, am a stickler for spelling correctly, and am fascinated by a myriad of subjects. Like a typical gemini I am easily excited by new ideas and experiences.
I am also addicted to twitter. There's something magical about having to express one's self within 140 characters.

A quick note for those who decide they want to contact me - I can't abide poor spelling or questionable usage of the semi-colon. If you are a Canadian and you come at me with American spelling I will not respond, at all. If you come at me with the equivalent of juvenile SMS standards (i.e., ur instead of you're) I will ignore you. I am looking for intelligence and a sloppy attitude towards communication does not engender any positive feelings on my part.
