About Me

So I've been on here for a while now and I'm sure many of you have read my profile. I'm sure of this because of that handy "viewed me" section of the site. I decided to change it because the last one I wrote, I wrote as a joke more than anything. I do appreciate the emails I received in regards to the previous profile, I'm glad I was able to make some of you find the humour in this site. So why change it? Simpley because I've changed. I'm at a time in my life where a relationship is something I actually am interested in, that, and making some new friends out of my regular circles.
To sum myslef up I guess I would say I'm an average guy who tends to think outside the box from time to time, I don't always just do things because it's the thing to do. A good example of this is when I travel, I don't do the things a regular tourist would do. I'll usually stroll off the beaten path, make friends with the locals and take in the culture first hand. I enjoy traveling a lot, anything from a road trip to the mountains to getting a plane ticket to somewhere tropical and figuring the rest out when I get there. I refuse to make too many plans when I'm on a trip, it eliminates the possibility of a random adventure, from my experiences those random adventures make the best stories.
I'm the type of person that can get along with almost anyone, Sure I clash with some people but I could probably still have a civil conversation with them as well. Many of my friends enjoy bringing me to parties because of this, if I'm in the right mood I'll know almost everyone at the party by the time I leave. With that being said, I don't go to a lot of parties anymore. I've kind of grown out of the party scene but do still enjoy a night out from time to time.
When it comes to music I can listen to almost any genre but prefer the indie scene. T.V on the Radio, Black Keys, Miike Snow(no I didn't spell Miike wrong), Broken Bells and so on. I can enjoy just about any type of music. Except death metal... Why is the singer yelling at me? and why isn't he yelling words? Sounds like a bear with health problems.
At the moment I take my career very seriously because I'm at a point in my life where I want to be able to do what I want when I want with a financial backing and career to go with it. Whether that means settling down or just traveling the world more. Only time will tell I guess. One downside to my career is that I'm out of town a lot. My life is consumed by my work at the moment but when I am on days off I'd like to direct my attention to a special someone. There is something to be said about having a glass of wine and a great conversation, it truly cannot be beat.
I should also point out that I have tattoos, 5 to be exact. Each one has a story and a meaning and I'm sure through time there will be more. All of them can be covered up with clothing.

I prefer to keep the first date or two on the casual side, anything where I can hear what you're saying and you me. Coffee or a drink somewhere, a walk down Whyte or just chatting it up on a park bench somewhere.
