About Me
Yes, admittedly a very cheesy headline, but at least I'm keeping with the theme...
Anyway, I'm originally from small-town Ontario...very small...my hometown only has one stoplight... Then, I grew up and moved all around Canada & the US. I'm lucky that my education and professional career have allowed me to experience so many new things and meet so many new people. I moved to Edmonton about two years ago from Toronto. It was a culture shock at first, but now I like it and feel like a part of the community. I have loved trains ever since I was a kid and now I work for the railroad. My job brought me to Edmonton.
I am quite active and do something athletic almost everyday. I like yoga. I run quite a bit & do half-marathons. Triathlons are a part of my life-style, but I'm not a super-star by any means. I like to keep busy & do things that help me grow as a person. I volunteer. I also like acquiring new skills and am often enrolled in some type of extracurricular activity. I like to think of myself as an intellectual, even though I'm a bit of a goof-ball. Airplane, Caddyshack and Star Wars are my favourite movies. My favourite bedtime reading literature is usually non-fiction/history, but right now I'm reading "Atlas Shrugged."
I'm looking for someone who is compassionate & giving. She's positive & outgoing, with personality. She's active & athletic, yet elegant & sophisticated. She's got that balance between tom-boy and high society. She will challenge & inspire me. I'm looking for someone who has enough in common with me to be my best friend.
