Hello again all you daters and minglers! I'm back again to try this thing out again, and maybe this time I'll have better luck.
Does anyone work a graveyard shift or some job where it's near impossible to meet new people? I do. I've been out of a relationship now for better than a year now and I'm definitely ready to open myself up again, but my job makes it very difficult, and all my guy friends are either single and looking like me, or taken and don't know any ladies!
So here I am! I'm very friendly and easy to talk to (so I've been told) and honest (sometimes to a fault). I believe in keeping fit and would like to think I've lost enough weight now that I can call myself "athletic"! I'm a big fan of the environment and believe she's worth saving. I'm not a rally goer per se, but I do my part to reduce my own carbon footprint where I can. I love the arts, especially music, and I'm a sucker for a concert be it rock or symphonic. I'm not picky when it comes to food, and I can culture an interest in just about any activity and hold a conversation about it. I can cook and bake with the best of 'em, I'm tidy and clean (hygiene too!) and I give a wicked back rub... not that I've been asked to recently and it's a SERIOUSLY wasted talent!! Oh and before I forget - travel... YES I like to travel, who doesn't? But I don't have the time to go backpacking around the world for several months on end, and even if I could, I'd be ready to come home by the end of it. Besides, there are plenty of amazing things to do right here in Ontario!
I have my shortcomings too - so does everyone, right? But I'm not here to advertise those! Haha! Anyway, it would just be really nice to go out with someone again and just talk about whatever. It's the little stuff I miss the most.
ANYWAY - So if you're somewhere around my age, intelligent, confident, and fit (or getting there) I need to hear from you! C'mon girls! Does it have to be the guy doing all the work all the time? Send me a message! You'll be glad you did!

First Date
Simple is best. A quick drink and a hello-nice-to-meet-you I've found in my experience to be the best way to avoid extended awkwardness because - let's face it folks - this is the online world and it's bound to be a little weird meeting face to face for the first time no matter what. If things go unexpectedly well, then we'll roll with it of course, but as a rule I try to keep it short.
