About Me
Hey there :)
I always find these things hard to start off...I'm a pretty easy going, low-maintenance girl who is more than happy to just go with the flow when it comes to this stuff. I hate having to classify exactly whet I’m looking for on here, maybe it’s friends, maybe something more, really it all depends on the connection with the other person. I will say I’m not looking for a one-night stand or anything like that, it’s just not my thing. Just looking to meet some good, fun people.
I'm not really one for making plans, I'd much rather just do something on a whim, schedules are for work, and totally random adventures are always more fun! I love to travel and plan to do so as much as possible (or as much as I can afford anyway).
I have a job that I really love that lets me be creative, travel and learn something new every day. When I’m not doing that I can usually be found wandering around town with my camera or reading a book in some nook or crannie of St. John’s (http://www.flickr.com/photos/victoriaw/). I’ve been on a total graphic novel kick as of recently and am always looking for suggestions of new reads, if you have any please pass them along !
I love movies, I’ll watch pretty much everything. I am an avid fan of both the theatre experience and the quiet night at home curled up on the couch with a blanket or a friend.
Some random facts:
- Last winter I backpacked around Europe solo for 9 weeks.
- Favorite tv shows include: Doctor Who, Firefly, 30 Rock, the Muppet Show, Most BBC Natural History series.
- I love Graphic Novels and will gladly accept suggestions of a good read.
- I like playing video games, but I am pretty horrible at most of them (though I can usually hold my own at Mario Kart). I also love watching people play video games.
- I try not to take anything too seriously (unless it merits seriousness).
- I'm kind of shy around guys but have been pushing myself to get over that and meet new people/make new friends.
- I believe in not being an ***hole and treating people as you'd like to be treated. Life's more fun that way.
