Are there any real people on this site???? What I am referring to is someone who doesn't just look at the outer layer of a person and will actually take the time to get to know the person on the inside. The way I see it is that looks fade in time..but personality remains the same. I've had a male friend of mine recently say this to me " I see the things you are..and someone sensible would recognize these things" So my question is..are there any Sensible guys out there who can see just what kind of woman I am? Lol.. If so prove it please :D Never judge a book by it's cover', ones cover is ever changing, but the core will always remain the same and it is the core that sustains a relationship, not the cover that gets bigger or smaller, wrinkles etc. I've been noticing alot of the mens profiles have captions such as "Looking For A Woman With A Big Heart" or "Aren't There Any Nice Women Left"..I have to giggle at those because there are sooooo many women on here like that..but the men choose to bypass them and get distracted with the others that don't have those qualities they are looking for..which is why they will be on here forever. Pay close attention when fishing boys..you may be looking right at the woman you are seeking ;p and Please Please Please..think before you speak ;p Players please keep on walking by..don't even take a 2nd glance. About me..Hmmm Well to start..I'm an east coaster (not Italian as some think I am) lol. I'm a Divorced single parent of one 11 yr old and I have raised my child on my own since 2005. I am a very independent woman who has a full time job and I support myself. I am a fun, witty confident gal who is motivated in any thing that I do and I have aspirations in life. Life is too short and I make the best out of it and have fun doing it. I see the glass half full instead of half empty. I am a very down to earth person who loves meeting people, likes to help others, making people laugh and overall just being myself. My friends call me a social butterfly who has a good heart and is always there. I am who I am and don't perceive myself to be someone that I'm not. My friends call me REAL. I think HONESTY,TRUST,RESPECT and COMMUNICATION are important. I don't have an addiction to shoes like most ladies do nor do I spend hours upon hours in the local malls shopping...Lol..so I wouldn't torture you that way..we all know men don't like to go shopping..lol..I'm not high maintenance..I enjoy the simple things in life but also enjoy the finer things.
I am the kind of person who can blend in well at any function, whether it be a formal night dressed to the nines drinking wine or just taking it easy at a pub in a pair of jeans and a T shirt sipping on a pint of beer. I'm very versatile. I love listening to and dancing to music of any sort, Rock n Roll being my favorite, dance and even a little bit of country..and of course going to see live bands play, concerts, theatre performances, movies, festivals, hockey, baseball, long drives in the country, camping & sitting around a bonfire, amusement parks..gotta love roller coasters :) I'm the person you usually see in their car...with the music cranked to the top and singing away as I drive..not having a care in the world who sees or hears me..haha.. I can also take it easy at home cuddled up on the couch under a blanket with a good movie and popcorn in hand with candles lit or cooking a dinner for two with a nice bottle of wine.
I love to laugh and of course smile and even better if I can put a smile on your face.
I have a great career, wonderful friends and family, and am simply looking for someone who's personality will compliment mine, and make life a little sweeter for the both of us.I don't NEED someone in my life but I WANT someone to share it with.
The ideal person I am looking for is a guy with a good balance in life, and a positive outlook, good sense of humor is a must. Be able to laugh at life and not be too serious but of course be serious when need be.
