About Me
Prerequisite generalizations about myself : I am an outgoing, confident, artistic, humorous, and ambitious person. I enjoy, and get energy from stimulating conversation and new experiences. In Myers Briggs lingo I’m an ENTP but close to an ENFP - if that means anything to you.
In my free time, I like to sketch, listen to CBC or TED talks, walk (explore) or run somewhere, go on a daytrip taking pictures, geek about with technology, read (fiction or non) or refresh my creativity (sometimes just vegetate) with a good movie, podcast, or TV show. At night I'm really getting into the live music scene. I’m almost always game to try new things.
I have interests and aptitudes in a wide variety of subjects and activities and am always curious to learn more. Though I have done some travel I am eager to get to new and different places - and really understand other cultures. Last year I mentored high school age kids and I'm looking to do something in that realm again this year.
I enjoy the outdoors and am active in playing sports –soccer, running, touch football, squash, baseball - but don’t so much watch sports on TV (consequently my weakest trivial pursuit category.) I’ve become a bit of a “foodie” over the past few years so appreciate high quality, healthier meals and try to cook for myself but also enjoy the social experience that is trying a new restaurant.
I have a great group of long term friends and a good relationship with my family. I visited my younger brother in Australia last year and make regular visits my older brother and his two young kids.
Now for you: my ideal girl is smart, challenging, friendly to everyone in a warm kind of way, funny, independent, creative and outgoing - can I throw in that ambition and goals are a must? This ideal girl of mine; she has an often used smile and a sense of style - she leads a healthy lifestyle and is interested in continual learning, travelling and new experiences. Stimulating conversation and the ability to challenge or teach me new things is welcome. That's my wish list anyways.
It seems to me, in reading quite a few profiles, people are more or less looking for, and offering, the same type of things. I believe the differentiator is chemistry. With that said, I certainly appreciate pictures of you and more than one line communications.
Fair warning - if I think we might have some things in common I will want to talk to you on the phone at some point and then even meet in person (probably sooner rather than later -shocking I know.)I don't really want or need an online relationship.

First Date
A first meeting is essentially to find out if there is chemistry. To that end, a cafe or a walk to get coffee, tea, or a mango smoothie will work. If things go well, don't rule out spontaneity. Thereafter for dates proper, I'll get more creative..
