I am not very good at talking about myself, I am more of a listener to others. Right off I’d like to say that I am an independent single parent to a wonderful and gorgeous bi-racial child who has brought more to my life than I could have ever imagined possible. So having said that, if you cannot accept or adapt to a woman that is a very dedicated parent, then I am not the woman for you. I am a very caring person who tries to be very considerate and respectful of others, and tends to wear her heart on her sleeve. There is very little that I wouldn’t do for the people I care about. I am not the female who will be dressed up on the regular--life is too hectic for heels everyday and I love my comfort clothes. I feel that age is only a number—why can’t I make snow angels or have tickle fights, watch good NBA or NFL game. Musically I love almost all music, but, I do love my ‘ol skool, rap, hip hop, slow jams and of course Mary, Luther, TQ and my all time favourite Tupac.
I am simply looking to meet a man for friendship, more if we can connect on that level. I feel that you have to develop a bond or a friendship before you get serious. I fully believe that “to find true love, you must first find a true friend”. I would like to meet a brotha that is respectable, intellectual, respectful, open, honest, real and can appreciate a me, as well as, who can appreciate the little things, that when added up over time, actually mean and matter the most. “Someone to hold me down & know I’m there holding them down too.” Like the Bow Wow song--Let Me Hold You Down--lol) Also and very importantly, a man that knows that it IS ok to have feelings as well as to show and admit to them, rather than become intimidated by them and push their feelings, (as well as me) aside or away. A man that is ready for a real, mature/adult, loyal, exclusive type of committed relationship. Not one which involves drama, lies, games, or a multitude of other involvements.
I do believe that there are still some of those men out there. I hope I don't sound too harsh when I say this; but I am tired of, & not playin anymore of the games and bullshit. I really don’t have time, (or honestly, patience) for this in my life. If you like to play games and cause drama, I'm sure there are plenty of half naked hoochie mamas on this site or in the clubs to choose from~I am NOT one of them. Nor am I one to go out to the clubs anymore~I did all that when I was younger, and would honestly prefer to be involved with someone who would prefer to spend quiet time with me, rather than at a club all the time. I like a man who doesn't feel the need to be dressed up all the time--have your comfort zone too.
Jus be straight up, honest & real right from the start……life is what you make it so why make it full of drama, bs & misery?

**It takes a true man to be able to be open and honest with not only himself, but with a woman about his 'true' self. A real man can admit that he genuinely appreciates simple gestures of affection, and has no qualms giving honest gestures himself. He's perfectly secure knowing its ok to stay in and watch a movie or game cuddled up with his lady.**
