About Me
Yeppie.....!!!! I am a french speaking lady who is now at a point in my life, of WANTING a man in my life, rather than NEEDING a man in my life.....I just feel I am ready to take on the next half of the century.... I am an independent lady, have my own tools too, I will never need to ask to borrow your hammer, drill or screwdriver, but will gladly let you borrow mine if you need too. How is that for an opening line.... Simply hoping to meet up with a nice gentleman, and one must acquire friendship first in order to build it into a relationship if there is compatibility. I would really like to have someone to accompany me to go do some fishing, going to flea markets or even just going for a walk, possibly by Hutch's On The Beach, great way to spend the afternoon, well at least if it's summer...lol I love the Water, to be by it, in it or if I am lucky enough to be on it, like on a boat, katamaran, canoe or even 4 ' X 8' piece of plywood with two planks for oars.... Fall is slowly creeping up on us, good time to go for a drive north to see the beautiful everchanging colors of the trees.
\I truly enjoy going for a nice afternoon ride on the back of a motorcycle and maybe watch the sun set, I like watching Hockey games(In season), NHL and would love to, hopefully one day, go to an NHL game.
\Just some history, at our age, we all do have one of those.... I speak french fluently, born in Quebec and came to Ontario when I was 9 and then moved back to Quebec in the 70's only to return here in the 80's.
It is so difficult to click on just one of the choices for dating, friends, long-term, short term, when it really all begins with friendship and then could escalate to so much more. WHO WOULD NOT WANT a long-term rlationship, when you have found your Special Man or Special Woman in your case... so please do not judge by my choices appearing in that section.
I have moved to the St-Catharines area a little over 1 year ago and do not know too many people. I do not like the bar scene, getting too old for that... Will be 24 this May .... it is pretty scary.... I have been on this planet for half of a century and now find myself alone again... It was OK for a while, but now, I feel the need and the want of a friend, a strong shoulder to lean on, a man to share my ups and downs with ...
I want to be able to miss you when we are apart,and be happy to see you when we get together.
I love to go fishing, I honestly do. Enjoy fishing on the shoreside, but my dream would be to have a boat and go out there, where APPARENTLY the big ones are hiding.... I love to dress nicely mostly all the time, I like to have my hair to look good all the time.... I am hoping to meet someone in the near future to chat with and possibly share photos, and take it from there.
I am not into head games or lies.
I am looking for a man who knows how to treat a lady, and who wants to be treated the same or similar ways from his woman.

First Date
FIRST DATE....! ! ! ! Would be nice to go out on a Date(I have to get the book to see how-to-date....lol) ... TO MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME: Grab a Timmies, go by the lake in Port Dalhousie and watch the sun setting. If we end it by planning a second date...that would be a good sign.
Fishing..... and by the way, I would love to go fishing on my first date...LOL and did I mention FISHING.... I truly love 2 go Fishing, yes fishing, I can also bait my own hook and will even bait yours, if you are uncomfortable with hooking leeches for bait. :fisher:
