About Me
Cute title eh? Now that I have your attention here’s a little about me…
I am 58 years young and am looking forward to retiring and enjoying *your* finer things in life (lol just kidding). All my children are adults with their own families, and although I love them and my grandchildren, I’m looking forward to some “me” time, perhaps with that someone special.
I have a great, somewhat sarcastic, sense of humour (see above) lol. I am extremely honest (some would say brutally so) and trustworthy. I do not believe that chivalry is dead. These are qualities that are very important to me and what I look for in a relationship.
I would consider travelling. I am afraid of flying (something I am working on) but LOVE driving trips. I enjoy seeing new places, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. A Mexican cruise and a road trip to San Francisco are definitely on my “Things to do” list.
In my free time I like to read, walk, movies, try/ learn new things etc… I also thoroughly enjoy both card and board games (backgammon and cribbage being 2 of my favourites.) Are you up for the challenge?

I doubt many of you really have the time to put into this..so although I leave my profile up ( I do enjoy reading what makes people tick :) ) I don't think I'm going to bother looking anymore.. unless you can show that you're not just trying to get *lucky*! Please have the decency to leave a message if you view my profile or put me in your favorites list. Here's hoping 2012 is a great year for all! My pictures are recent..also have some from Xmas..just not sure how to download them to the PC ( I had help for the ones up there :))

I would like to have some kind of connection, either on here on by phone, prior to meeting in person the moment we say “hi” An *interview* at CHARbucks coffee is not my preference…neither is a 5 minute walk. How can you get to know someone while walking beside them and not being able to look into their eyes? Perhaps going for lunch or dinner where we can have a conversation?
