About Me
-------------------------------------------------------------------- YOU HAVE ARRIVED!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------

Howdy! ...You are browsing through the available men on Plentyoffish.com and now you have arrived at my page. Well now all I have to do is convince you why I am the guy you should be interested in...But to be totally honest, I'm not here to convince anyone of anything...To use 2 old cliches, I am who, who I am and Take it or leave it.

I am a 31 year old male from Scarborough who just wants to live life to the fullest and experience every breath-taking moment that is possible.

What I mean by me being a "Weerdo" is that the word "normal" has no true definition. We all create and abide by many different norms throught out entire lives... What may be considered "normal" to you may be totally insane to someone else. I also am stating that I have a non-common sense of humour and several unique interests. I am definitely one of, if not, the most ecclectic person you will ever meet in life.

One of my passions in life is writing. The power of the written word is immense. I write poetry, lyrics, short-stories, novels. I have been working on a novel for several years now. The idea for it came from a nightmare I once had when I was younger. I started off writing this incredible ending which you just have to read to believe and I am working on everything else from scratch, from the start to all that is in between...

I love music. It is my other true passion in life.
To me MUSIC IS MUSIC, regardless of style or genre. Music is a universal form of communication and just like any other oral communion, it comes in many different languages...I do not look down upon another individual because of the music they listen to. I find that every form of music has some kind of intelligence and beauty to offer. You just have to seek it by opening up your ear and mind. You name it, I listen to it. Country, Classical, Punk, Classic Rock, Soft Rock, Metal, New Rock, Blues, Jazz, Rap, Hip-hop, Flamenco, (There's a difference between Rap and Hip-hop), Reggae, Soca, Polka (Alright, I made a rhyme!), Greek Music, Pakistani music, Somalian music, I can keep going if you like...

I watch a fair amount of t.v. I used to be a real couch potato when I was younger, but I don't watch as much as I used to. The following list of television shows I like is in no particular order, because, since I am a writer, I am always editing what I write and thinking of better ways in which I can express ideas. And sometimes, just when I think I am finished, I seem to have forgotten something...lol. I like to watch Law & Order (The longest running Emmy Award winning drama) Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Without a Trace,C.S.I.,C.S.I. New York(I never did get into C.S.I.Miami, although David Caruso is an mazing actor), Seinfeld(The best situation comedy of all time), Sanford & Son, Frasier, Cheers(of course, that's how I got into Frasier), Friends, The Daily Show with John Stewart, The Colbert Report(Okay those two are in order, just because the latter came about from the other),Family Guy,The Simnpsons, Robot Chicken(Seth Green is awesome),Kenny Vs. Spenny(These guys are hilarious. Poor Spenny always gets tormented by Kenny),Jeopardy,The Price is Right,Rescue Me,3rd Watch, Old Canadian game shows like: Press Your Luck andSuperMarket Sweep...I could go on and on...Too much boob tube is no good for the eyes...mind you the same thing applies when you're sitting, staring at a computer monitor.

Did I mention I love music?

I am an ex-smoker, so I have nothing against people who smoke. I just hope and pray they will see the light as I have. People who smoke know they are idiots for doing so, but there is a lot more to it than simply thinking..."It's so easy to quit...Just don't smoke." Smoking is an evil sinister trap. If you really want to quit, I recommend reading Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking. I quit on my own using just my willpower because of several decisions I knew I wanted to make in my life, however reading this book really opened my eyes, made sense of so many things I was feeling and told me so much I didn't even know about smoking including the physical and mental aspects I was unaware of.

I'm a social drinker. I like a good ice, cold now and then, but I still cannot understand how alcohol can lead to the following train of thought: "Let's go and kick the living sh*t out of one another, vandalize the nearest bus shelter and then get arrested by the police." No interest there for me...I used to drink a lot when I was younger and get totally annihilated, many days of the week, however I'm not interested in that any more. I will get drunk, but only at a social function and only with my close friends, whom I trust completely. I'm not into the club or bar scene as I once was.

Now I realize in my profile it asks...Do you do drugs? and I did answer Yes, because I do smoke marijuana. I do not smoke the same amount as I used to when I was younger, due to the following reason: It relaxes you and too much can make you lazy. However this is the only illegal drug I do use. I believe people should have the right to consume whatever they choose to as long as it does not infringe on the happiness of another indivdual. I have tried other drugs in my life and they were not for me. I have seen their harmful physical and mental affects and the damage they do to people's lives, therefore these other drugs, which I shall not mention here do go against my beliefs and so I do not use them. I would rather see people smoking joints or bongs then drinking some kind of alcohol. Alcohol in a single day kills more people than marijauna ever does. Alcohol can cause violent behaviour in people whereas I have yet to see anyone go out and want to kill someone after smoking a joint or a bowl...(Well, err, maybe for a bag of Doritos, but I have yet to seen that happen ...) If marijuana was legalized, the criminal element would be taken out of it and there would be a lot more happy people walking around with smiles on their faces, mind you obesity would increase. I don't see this happening for a long time...

First Date
So people are still doing the dating thing? Wow!

Well for me a first date is something simple, yet enjoyable. Or it can be complex and exciting. There has to be no pressure and it has to be in a comfortable atmosphere.

A first date for me consists typically of a cup of coffee or tea, or an ice cream and a walk either in the park, on the beach or just down the street on a beautiful day, where we can just talk and get to know one another. It's amazing how a peaceful walk can really get people talking and get them to open up to each other.

A first date with me may instead be(if you happen to be so lucky enough) an adventure of epic proportions...I'm a random kind of individual and love to be spontaneous now and then. I'm not saying we'll hop on a plane and fly off to Spain together(That's more like something I would do on my own or with somebody I know really well), but maybe a trip downtown to get new tattoos or piercings or a drive into the country to go blueberry picking. Possibly seeing a show, followed by a Tango lesson, a tour of Toronto's most haunted places and then ending the night by jumping into a really large water fountain(I've always wanted to do that and haven't yet!!!)......

Dinner is also a very good option. I'm an amazing cook,(I don't mean to *cough* brag or *cough* anything,*cough*) and I am constantly coming up with new recipes. I would love to cook and prepare a meal for a special lady and talk all hours into the night with her...
