Oh my gosh, reaaaally? Are the gals on here as "interesting" as the guys?
Y'alls pics are entertaining to say the least.
Me? I am not publishing them so there, haha. ;)
Despite the request to describe myself, I am prone to describe the "you" I seek.
First and foremost, be yourself. Don't put on heirs or conduct yourself in a manner against your nature. Trust me, it'll just work better in the long run.
Next, it's a balance of gregarious, confident, adventure-gentleman I am most drawn to. Despite my college years and all the friendships developed within the metro-driven sector of society, it's not where my heart is drawn. I seek simplicity and a gent who is prepared to share a life alongside me on a variety of adventures. One full of laughter and admiration for one another I might add. To build and expand our friendships together. To know that person is there with your best interest in mind and will lend you a steady hand best they can. An unwaivering presence. You will also understand and strive to live by the meaning behind "I am second". Non-religious? ...back out of this profile. This isn't to say I'm ultra-conservative but it does mean I answer to someone else and want the same applied to my gentleman. Confident yet humble.
In addition to a smile, a persons depth of relationships lend insight to who they are. Do you have multitudes of friends sprinkled with those few staples from decades back? Or, simply a few solid whom you email now and again? How close are you to family or are your friends considered your family? I'm blessed to feel as though many of my friends are an extension of my core family. Please say you've been married once ... if not, I'll tend to be a bit skeptical. Whether it's zero or twice for you, it provides insight. We've all made mistakes ... but how have they altered your thinking? Crass and cynical? Again you should please just back on out. It's the arrow in the top left of your screen.
My interests mirror those which most guys enjoy minus actually participating in collision sports. Enjoy college ball but am not a ball player despite being able to knock one around and shoot hoops with the nephews. Hunting sports are more what I like being involved in. Chasing blues and watching the dogs work. Whetting a fly on the Yampa, reeling in a grouper off Playa Blanca, riding the shoreline on horseback near Turtle Bay...there's more I want to do and share. Despite being what some may consider cultured and well traveled, I'm just an everyday small town kinda girl with varied interests. Cute, but not a "girly girl" who requires pampering and all things bling. I wear my heels well but also like my field boots. Quality and simplicity suit me. Have the Ann Taylor suits but jeans, fitted henleys and Frye boots are my preference. Cowboys are a weakness but not the metro rhinestone types as I come from a family of retired cowpunchers. Love and respect the cowboy way of life and would gladly be someones gate girl.
Funny how guys have said "you wrote too much" - I put them in the Kanye West category.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Doesn't require dinner, drawn out yadda yadda.... you'll know if it's mutual and kinetic. Just a casual laid back walk in the park will do. Am not going on a weekend trip to Vegas with ya but thanks... Not even to Stampede in Canada, or skiing in Steamboat, nope.
Note: for my own privacy, I will pursue you if interested...I promise I will 'favorite' or drop you a line so there's no second guessing just because I viewed your profile. Favorite me, fine but am not looking to be fished out ... I'll fish for you, thanks.
No offense, just saves us all some time.
I wish you all the happiness of which dreams are made.
I suppose the ultimate dream would be to find the one I describe ... and he live within DATING distance! Anyone west of downtown Dallas might be a challenge for me.
