About Me
I’m a kind-hearted sensitive man who cares a lot for those in his life. I’m a bit of white knight and always look to help those I care about to the best of my abilities. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I think life is a journey with ups and downs and that you should experience as much of it as possible. I like the outdoors and enjoy going for walks. I love museums. I enjoy sitting around talking with friends and family. I think everyone we meet in this world has something to offer us and that we have something to offer them. I’m a geek. I love to play all kinds of games. I think competitive and co-operative games are both fun. I love to play Magic: The Gathering and just about any kind of video game (though I’m not a big sports buff). I love to be exposed to new things.
I’m always moving forward with my life. I'm a project geologist and as a result it comes with travel. The best part of my job is I'm able to meet, see, and do things others rarely get to. I have plans of getting my masters in a few years and I'm toying with the idea of getting a PhD. I think you shouldn't limit yourself on what you want to do.
I spend my free time relaxing by seeing friends and family, playing video games (mainly when traveling to help kill time), and working on various artistic projects (writing poetry, origami, and random miscellaneous artistic fancies).
I really don't read that much but I am a big fan of the fantasy and comedy genres. The Darksword Trilogy, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, Letters from a Nut, More Letters from a Nut, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Worlds of Amano, Rant, and Book of Goblins are just a few of the books I like.
I'll give just about any movie a shot and there really isn't a list of movies I would deem to be my favorites (though I am a fan of musicals and anything with Bruce Campbell in it). This isn't so much me being picky just that I forget movie titles really easy. My music taste would have to be called eccentric at best and schizophrenic at worst. I have a very broad taste in music.
