About Me
Hi,
I'm looking to share my life and love with someone. I believe that means sharing the ups and downs, the good and bad, tears of joy and of pain. I have a caring heart that fills with passion. I have loved and lost but I am willing to love again. Its the most wonderful feeling in the world.
I don't dream of owning a bigger house or faster car than the next man. I don't judge people by where they live or how much money they have so, if you do, then I suggest you stop reading now. I value humour, humility and honesty in a person. I want a woman who is able to communicate her thoughts and feelings freely, without the need for a crowbar to remove them from her mind. Mind readers do not exist although some people believe they do!! I want a woman who can make me laugh out loud and not take life too seriously. I work with people who have helped me to appreciate the value of all forms of communication.
Even though, at times, I see the sad side of life, I still see humour in most situations and I can guarantee to make you smile. I enjoy good conversation and appreciate people who have a point of view and don't just agree with others for a quiet life! I love walking and hiking. I like losing myself (metaphorically) in natural surroundings. My favourite place for hiking is the Lake District. I love walking on the South Downs or along the seafront. I'm equally happy in a quite place or people watching along the promenade. I love shopping!!!! I enjoy most music and I'm learning the guitar but I'm struggling to get my hands to produce anything that sounds remotely like music!! I don't think I'll be serenading anyone for a while!! I've been trying to learn Leroc dancing for a while. Its great fun and good exercise. I love my Triumph Tiger and enjoy touring and camping trips to France, Wales and Scotland. Hopefully Europe again soon.
My aspirations are probably the same as others. I'm mostly OK in my job and I have chosen not to enter the management ratrace as its not me, even though I am qualified. I aspire to be happy with myself and with those around me for as much my life as possible. Nobody can achieve total happiness, there's something wrong if they say they can! I try to live 'in the moment' as life is too short to be full of regrets for past choices or overwhelmed by anxiety for a future that hasn't been written.
I enjoy new challenges and will try anything once within reason, and if it makes others happy then, that's part of the way to making me happy.
