About Me
I’m not looking for someone to complete me, but I’m not looking for someone to be just a roommate either. I want to find a teammate. I want the two of us to have one another’s backs and to be there as advisors and confidants for one another. We’ll each bring different strengths and skills to the relationship, and I guess it’s corny, but together we’ll be more than the just the sum of the two of us. I want my romantic dinners and evenings cuddling on the couch to be times I'm spending with my best friend.
I like seeing a play and discussing it afterwards over coffee and cheesecake, and I like cooking things I've heard of but never tried like Welsh Rarebit. Still, men like doing things that get us dirty. The dirtiest I've ever gotten was when I spent an entire day underground in a cave in Tennessee. The next dirtiest was pretty much every day that I spent replacing the engine in my brother's car. Cooking and the theater are fun, but doing those things was more fun.
I have no children, so I don't have any child support to pay (no alimony either), and there's no "baby's mama drama" in my life. I do still want to have children, and I have the skills and knowledge I need to be a good father. I can make a light bulb out of a mayonnaise jar, and I know why the sky is blue and sunsets are red.
