About Me
Well here we go,
I’m originally from the Island. I'm in my last semester at SFU. I live on my own and I work at a small organic grocery shop on the side. My five year plan would be get going with a career and visit at least two different continents (probably Europe and Africa).
Personality wise I come off as aloof at first, and truth be told I am a bit of an introvert, but people I know know that I’m always great fun to be around and have a reputation for my sense of humour on all things. I appreciate all forms of humour and I believe everything is game from bad puns to dark humour.
What makes me unique: my genes; I make plaid look really good; I've had a beard since I was 19; I'm incredibly observant, and I have a pretty good memory; your mom would probably think I'm great; I like to listen to baroque and classical music in my bathtub; and I apologise to people if they bump into me on the street - even if sometimes it's sarcastic.
As for my hobbies I enjoy: creative writing; watching films and can't resist when a good movie comes on TCM; vinyl record hunting; pick up games of badminton; tossing around a football; people watching on the bus; seeing a BC Lions game. I like to discuss politics and current events and see how other people think/react. I love dropping movie (and Simpsons) quotes. I'm always up for checking out something new or someone's favourite places to be.
I'm looking to find someone who is: fun to spend time with; who can show me new things, new places and new experiences. And if not that, then the company should be worth it just the same. I definitely believe that personality plays a big factor in attraction, as does looks. I don't have a 'type' of girl I'm attracted to. I'm always attracted to girls who are friendly, kind, witty, not full of themselves, have fun what ever they're doing, and are good at communicating and not just talking. Nice smiles are always appreciated too.
Relationship wise I do my best to balance my own needs and having fun with that special girl. Friendship wise I'm an awesome person to have in your life. First Date
I prefer to talk a bit online first but when it comes down to it something that's going to makes us both comfortable and able to enjoy getting to know each other in person. That said, it can be anything from going out record hunting, or grabbing a cup of tea and going people watching. Or since it's autumn soon go leaf pile jumping.
