I'm not an L.A. native. I am from Cali originally, but not this part. I moved back to town in October and have been loving it- All the great outdoors to kick it in. The great indoors ain't too bad either. I'm an active guy, with a lot of active hobbies. I like taking my kayaks out in the Marina. I know fishing is not really that active, but have a few beers in the sun and rowing back to shore can feel like a decathlon. Hiking in L.A. is great, but should I be worried about all the mountain lion tracks? They eat people down here! What's that about. Don't they know L.A. has some of the best FAJITAS in the world! I love Mexican food too. I'd eat that stuff every day if I could, but that's risky. Not mountain lion hiking , but definitely daring.
I work in TV, but I like watching it more than making it...very different from my feelings for food. I think unlike Television, food is much more fun to make than to watch. If you watch food for a really long time, nothing happens. Food Network, on the other hand, is great. Food Network HD...should be illegal. Don't show me an amazing Braised Lamb and Risotto dish in HD that I can't eat...that's mean. In my spare time I bounce around the West side on my bike or drive to Hollywood and hang out with friends up there. Write me and I will message you back. People say that, I know, but it's true. I will.
