Well, back into the dating pool I go. My schedule has sort of come back into sync with the rest of the world, and I can now consider a social life. I don't have too much expectations from online dating, but perhaps I may find someone with whom I can get along.
Let's make this simple:
Why am I here? To meet girls. It's not easy to meet people outside your immediate circle of friends in this city, and my female friends are either gay or in a relationship. We can start with something light and easy, then work towards something serious naturally. Dating is supposed to be fun, right?
What do I look for? Someone who can appreciate my sense of humour, which usually gravitates towards cheesy puns. If you're easily offended, then chances are you're too thin skinned for me. I'm looking for someone relatively fit, relatively fashion-conscious (I am from Montreal, everyone's a little metro there), who enjoys dancing some saturday nights (not necessarily club dancing either, swing dancing is definitely an option, or if you can teach me zouk or salsa) and lazing about sunday, only to catch a comedy show that evening. I take my career very seriously, so I'm usually working, studying, or training during the week... that's why I like to let loose on weekends. Hmmm, that last sentence makes me sound like a fratboy workoholic. Letting loose can also mean chilling at a pub, or at home with a movie. Bonus points if you're into Muay Thai, MMA, or any type of combatives.
Why are men so complicated? No they're not. Men's minds only contain 5 things: Sex, sleep, pizza, sports, and beer. We function by combining these as motivators and achieve the great feats that we have. Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel? Groupies... besides, since he was painting on his back, he could take frequent naps. See? Now you understand men.
So if any of this amused or intrigued you, send me a message.
PS: Proper writing is a sign of a cultured mind. If U rite like dis and think it's kool, then I don't think we will get along. You learn the difference between its, it's, your, you're, their, and there in elementary school, if you can't be bothered to remember that, I can't be bothered to meet you.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Toronto is one of the most interesting places to live. There's always something to do, to see, to go to. Depending on what floats our boat, drinks or coffee, then maybe a stroll downtown, maybe go to the bookstore and play "Hey! Have you read this?".
You can always drag me out for a run, gods know I need the motivation. Gym dates are also fun, I've rarely done those.
Or, if the vibe is right, we could just go to the park and play on the swings.
