About Me
Aug 2011: New Update: Living in Moncton again.
May 2011: New Update: Back in Canada. Living in Quebec City
Dec 2010: Update. Living in Malta at the moment and moving to the Canary Islands for the winter!
So here goes. I am never sure how long to make these. I could go on forever because the last 5 years of my life have been so full of traveling, growing as a person and as an entrepreneur. Ask me anything you'd like to know.
Quickly here are some things that describe me
Hard working, loyal, caring, easy going and to get along with, passionate, determined, driven to succeed, understanding, a good listener, loves adventure and trying new things, traveling, experiencing new food and cultures, business networking, shy at first but I open up quickly enough, tall, skinny, witty.
Since asking questions is the major part of getting to know someone I will write some interesting things about myself and ask some questions so you can more easily send me a message :)
- I love working as much as I love not working (when in good company and doing something I love) Have you found your passion?
- I have lived around north america and even in the Caribbean. Where would you travel / live if there were no limits?
- I have worked for some very large companies even the House of Representatives in DC... It was boring.
- Grew up on a farm but I am allergic to cows. More of a cat person then dogs. Do you prefer cats or dogs?
- My mom and my dad both are from the Netherlands, I was born in Canada. What is your background?
- I was a founder in a company that grew to 28 people full time and was named a Hot Profit 50 Canadian company. This is one thing I pride most, what is an accomplishment you have great pride in?
- I left this company and went on to start 2 others... still going strong and not ruling out a 3rd :)
- I don't stay in one place too long - haven't really found a place I want to settle yet. Europe is next on my list.
- I am the oldest boy in a family of 6. There are 52 great grand children on my moms side alone! - Are you close with your family?
- I make my living fulltime on the internet and this allows me to work from anywhere in the world.
- I am driven by seeing things succeed. - Are you addicted to anything in a good way?
- I have not dated much and have never been in a serious relationship. (I was getting my career in place first)
- Love marketing and people that are interested in it. I love the creativity it allows me. I went to school for design. Are you a creative person?
- Love discovering new awesome music that fires me up. Got any suggestions?
- I love going to conferences and networking, especially with people in my line of business. What is your take on the statement "surround yourself with successful and positive people?"
- I love going to play pool and I really enjoy soccer and floor hockey (even though I don't do much of that anymore) - Do you play or watch sports, what are your favorite?
- I love to learn new things but I hate reading. I reinvest a good portion of the money I make into courses, training and masterminding. What do you do to better yourself in your career?
Oh also a pet peeve I have with this site... if I take the time to write a legit and respectful message that actually shows I took some time and thought to write it I would really appreciate a reply.
