I'm independent, confident (but not in-your-face), humorous, easy-going, and a realist. I've also been told caring, compassionate, fun, with the occasional burst of spontaneity. My nature best comes out when face to face. I can't stand being politically correct. I'm just one of those types of a people who speaks his mind and will treat people w/ respect as long as they deserve it.
What's most important to me in a relationship, I believe honesty & communication. You've got to know what each other are thinking and be able to accept the possibility of letting your partner be involved. Yet, I also think that being able to just be in each others company without talking is a huge comfort, too. I hold family & friends in high value as they will always be there for you.
I'm an avid motorsports fan. Mostly Formula 1 since they actually have to turn right & left, stop, go; all in the same lap! World Rally Championship is my favorite, yet I have to watch on the net. I almost sound European. But NASCAR or Indy is good also. Recently, Rugby has become an interest of mine. During the past few years, I've become a shooter (both recreational and competition), started hunting to put real, fresh food in the refrigerator. I'd love to go out west or New Zealand.
I realize that no one's perfect. I've come to see through some imperfections. I tell you this because I'm not perfect. Back in 1993, I had an accident that left me paralyzed from the mid-chest down.
I'd really like to meet someone who's ready to join me back into the swing of life again. Not a "Cruise Director", but someone who's willing to share their inspirations (and mine) so we can enjoy life together. I've lost that now suppressed spark since my social life started to dwindle away as friends left, got married, etc.
