I learn something new every day... God works on me every day... I love my family... I love my friends... I love to study God's word. Here are a few of my favorite things: Any place with a beach; Churches; Travel; Mission Trips / Retreats; A Good Belly Laugh; Games (board games, cards or trivia); Theatre; Football (Tarheels and Panthers); Locally owned restaurants and shops; Wacky tourist traps (espcially Mystery Hill in Blowing Rock); daily newspapers; working with teenagers. Here are some of my not so favorite things: any "salad" mixed with mayo -chicken salad, egg salad, tuna salad, potato salad, macaroni salad; being scared - horror movies, haunted houses, dark creepy places; yard work and gardening; being bored.
Christ is #1 in my life, but I'm an easy-going normal girl. The Christian life is not boring or limiting. You can take me about anywhere...church, the neighborhood pub, four star restaurant, wine tasting, home of family/friends, theatre, action movies, third world countries, home repair mission trips, Carribbean vacations, Myrtle Beach.
