Thanks for the interest, I am currently dating a man of great interest.
ME: I work hard and many times long hours. I have committed myself to having more social time. I laugh a lot so of course I like country music!, antiques, Dallas Cowboys, Lakers and shopping when I travel, forget the mall! I hate old lady clothes. I can make long term plans or do things on the spur of the moment. Travel, dancing and long talks are charming. My work keeps me in shape. I want to expand some things I used to do. I am a slum goddess (female slum lord). I am generous to a fault. I watch little TV. Avid fiction reader with happy endings. I like to play board or card games, but am not very good at chess. People need to carry their own weight in life. The government handouts in the Central Valley are appalling. Life is to be lived! Politically conservative, Native Texan. I am looking for relationship.
In any couple one bounces and the other is stable. I Bounce so am looking for someone stable.
YOU: A friend to be active and alive with, including but not limited to seeing if I can still play tennis, running, walking, sailing, dancing, live theater, concerts, ... anything worth trying...scuba is a goal! Some one with a great sense of humor is essential after all life is hard enough to earn a good laugh, well educated (formal or the world), a bit romantic and at least as financially stable as I am. I am passionate about everything I do. The passions change. What is the equivalent of blue jeans and pearls for a guy? Tux and Tennis shoes? Variety is the spice of life, and I don't mean surfing 300 channels on tv. I want a man who can see me as sexy (this is the easy part), but wait for a relationship and that is not the first date! ...(that is the hard part....oops!) I am looking for a really good shoulder to snuggle up to. Do you have one?
Thanks for reading my profile.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Hmm interesting question. Practically speaking it needs to be public. The most important thing is for you to be yourself. No one can keep up the pretense. An activity where we could learn about each other. your favorite place to eat-walk-sit, bring your kids, bring your dog, leave your fish!, your favorite book to share, samples of what you do and be open to whatever happens. Take what you take, and get what you get. If you want to hear me scream take me on Goliath at M. M.! If you want to see me sleep take me to an opera! I like to watch the college and pro football, baseball and basketball playoffs.
