About Me
I am currently living at home in Airdrie as I just graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree. I was working here for the fall but want to get into police work eventually.
Last year I helped start a club on my University campus that I am very proud of. We are called the AQA (Augustana Queers and Allies). Check us out on facebook if you want. So far we have great success and we are hoping to continue to raise acceptance and in a welcoming atmosphere.
I used to play a ton of sports in high school including soccer, basketball and badminton. I am a huuuge Calgary Flames fan. I'm hoping this season we can at least make the playoffs lol. Go Flames Go!!
I am proud to be a country music fan. Garth Brooks is the one singer I need to see live before I die. I do love other types of music too though like light rock and pop, Ben Howard, Matt Nathanson and John Mayer have got some really great songs. I am just starting to get into Idie music too. But I need suggestions please!!
I am very dependable and always put others before myself. I was brought up a Christian so I know all about self sacrifice. I don't know if I would call myself a Christian anymore, cause, well, I'm gay haha (just kidding, I know gays can be Christians too). But living in that environment all my life has taught me some good values. If I say I will be there, you can count on it (although sometimes I'll be late but I always call to apologize). I would say I am a little shy but not so it limits me at all. I am comfortable in large groups. I am a hard worker when it comes to school (haha). There are times when I do procrastinate and others when I give it my all. I can't tell you how many all-nighters I have put into my art. Sometimes I wonder why I care so much about it.
I love to laugh and to make others laugh. I am fluent in sarcasm, but I do know when it is time to have a serious conversation. I love road trips and singing in the car. My friends, family, and my dog, are the most important things in my life. I am the type to put all my heart and soul into making a relationship work. My parents have gone through a divorce and I never want to go through that with someone I love.
I have a gorgeous girlfriend now so I'm only looking for friends.
