Hello, my name is Frank. I am a single parent and have been since 1994. My kids are all grown up now! I am currently studying Level 1 Preparing To Work In Adult Social Care at Birmingham Metropolitan College. I would like to work in the Mental Health sector as a care worker/support worker and/or befriender. I want to learn basic counselling next.

"For ages now I have been trying to write a profile for dating websites correctly, worrying if I say the right thing or the wrong thing! Well is there a right way or a wrong way? I don't think there is so I have decided to just be me, honest and it is a case of take me or leave me!
I have a Son (who is 23, not living at home), a Daughter (who is 20), and my lovely first Grandchild, a beautiful Granddaughter (both lving at home with me).
I suffer from depression and anxiety. This is one thing I avoid mentioning but I shouldn't. I'm not infectious, just a victim of circumstances in life since I left school mainly although I refuse to think like a victim! I have gone off a very high dose of zombiefied tablets and now I choose freely to not be on any at all. I can think straighter, I feel more alert and I have been trying hard to read self help books as an alternative. I have learned to love (and respect) myself for who I am so therefore the woman I meet as to as well! I shall love and respecther back just the same!
I am not political as such, I am not religious (but do believe in spirituality and I like the peaceful ways Buddhism promotes. I don't think you need a "God" to believe in this! My faith and hope is in humanity!), I just can think for myself without the media, the Government and the NWO brainwashing me into what they think I should be thinking!
I am a open minded, young at heart, honest, respectful, caring, romantic, kind hearted, misunderstood, lovable kind guy. People like to confide in me they say I am good to be around! I have varied interests like writing poetry, stories etc., going on Twitter (mentioned above regarding bio!) whilst Blipping the tunes on Blip FM etc. I love animals and nature. I am a strong believer of peace and helping people understand mental illness. I like having a decent conversation. I am a passionate Birmingham City and England fan. I do love football but I know it isn't the be all and end all of life so I don't allow myself to get into petty arguments over it! I am also a passionate Englishman who wants to see the pride back in England once more without being labeled a racist! It is unfair! I like to go on my PC when I am not chilling or watching TV. I am fairly quiet but I have a good, cheeky, sense of humour! I have a varied taste in music and, as I said, I am not religious although I like the teachings of Buddha and I believe in Karma! Yes I am an athiest but I do respect anyones PEACEFUL beliefs as long as they respect mine, even if we don't agree and besides it is often best to agree to disagree! As a peaceful man, I do not believe in wars or fighting and shall always have hope in my heart that the world will be a better place to live in for future generations! I would love to live somewhere quiet and stress free like the seaside or countryside and just be me! I have never been abroad but i would love to visit New York amongst other places! Still NEVER SAY NEVER hey?!

First Date
So who would I like to meet? Well firstly please be kind enough to have a photo on your profile as I have one as you can see! Another thing would be nice to meet someone with a basic grasp of the English language and grammar please! I CAN NOT stand text talk! It is LAZY! Now to say this! I am happy to make FRIENDS with ANYONE, ANY age, BUT I am on here mainly for a long term relationship with a woman! I don't want to go through life dating one woman after another or having one night stands etc. because I am looking for love not lust! I am not stupid and I am not shallow, I know we all probably have an idea of what someone should be like who we want to meet and generally in life we will probably meet the complete opposite of that idea! All I want in life is to meet someone who doesn't smoke, as I don't smoke, smaller than me, as kids over 18 or doesn't want kids because I don't want any more, who is kind, lives in Birmingham preferably (or in or close to the West Midlands as I don't drive so it makes life easier if we are comparatively as near to each other as possible!), honest, respectful, caring and, as I have said above, excepts me for who I am. I would like to meet someone who likes a good conversation about things other than what is on the TV or in the newspapers or celebrity magazines! If you think we may be good together then say hello but please be truthful from the start. It prevents the feelings of mixed messages! Saying all that if you are religious then maybe I am not the one for you? It saves falling out before we have started! I can not believe or pretend to believe in something because someone wants me to! That would be hypocritical and that is just NOT me! Finally, and last but not least, if you are a goth/rock chic type of Lady then I AM YOUR MAN! LOL. ;-)
