Time to revamp this profile and hopefully find what I’m looking for.
I'm very independent, somewhat opinionated, and maybe just a little stubborn (but I'm half Italian... so that's probably why!). I'm a no-BS kind of girl, usually quite sarcastic, and I'm very goal oriented. I’m definitely not a girly girl… I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and if I hadn’t chosen engineering, I definitely would have ended up in a skilled trade. At the same time, it is nice to get dressed up for a night out once in a while.
I LOVE the water. I have spent summers on the family boat on the water since I was 6, and just love sitting on the dock in the summer. Like most people, I do love the outdoors. Winter walks when it's snowing, summer camping trips, hikes, and long bike rides are my favourites.
I have always had the travel bug...seeing new places, trying new things, and experiencing different cultures. I aspire to travel to as many places around the world as I feasibly can, and would love to meet someone interested in joining me.
I have a soft spot for animals of all kinds, but dogs are definitely my favourite.
I love going to concerts. There aren't many things better than being in the front of a pit of crazy fans enjoying a live show. I like most any kind of music, though I’d say hard rock is my favourite. Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Slipknot, and Foo Fighters are some of my favourite bands. I love talking about music, and I particularly enjoy discovering new music/bands, so if you've got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
What am I looking for?
* someone intelligent, and witty, and who likes to sit and have a good conversation.
* Someone caring, and not afraid to be romantic once in a while. And who isn’t afraid of the occasional PDA.
* Someone who likes to be challenged, and is up for adventure... but also wouldn’t mind spending a night in cuddled up on the couch.
* Someone loyal, honest, and who isn't going to jerk me around.
* Someone who’s not afraid to cook (preferably healthy foods), at least sometimes.
* Must love dogs, as I plan to have at least 2, once I have the space for them.

First Date
If the weather's nice enough then going for a walk, maybe getting some ice cream. If we had to stay indoors then I guess coffee and desert would be ok. Something casual where we could spend the time getting to know more about each other.
