I'm from west Texas and love wide open highways, seeing and doing new things, and eating good food. I have a passion for high school and college football, and for me it's hard to beat saturdays in the fall; traveling to the games, enjoying the festivities, trying out different restaurants, and just enjoying the autumn air. I love the outdoors and being active, wether it be going for a little jog, riding my bike, or just strolling through the neighborhood. I've tried a little bit of everything over the years; backpacking in the mountains, kayaking, parasailing, camping, and traveling, and survived it all. I prefer the city because I like the conveniences, but also enjoy the charm of a small town, especially if there's a scenic path to get there. I have a bachelor of fine arts and teach art for a living. I paint and draw when I can and when I get some inspiration, but mostly create art for friends and family.
I've done many different things on a first date, and what we do often depends on who I'm going with and what shared interest we have. As far as getting to know someone, I think enjoying coffee at Starbucks together is a good way to go. From there, it's good be spontaneous; dinner, wine tasting, a visit to the museum, etc. There are plenty of options out there.
