I like many things - working out, playing squash, writing, my dogs, spending time with my daughter ... all of this, I believe would be more enjoyable with a compatible, loving partner. First Date
I think a first date should be a relaxed, non-threatening chance to talk and get to know each other. At this point in my life, I know what I am looking for and I'd like to meet someone who is, for the most part, at the same place. A nice, quiet dinner, with a smooth glass of wine, at a quiet restaurant seems like an ideal place to talk and share and see if there is any spark to build on. Honesty, sincerity, understanding and a willingness to open up somewhat and render yourself a tiny bit vulnerable seem to be good starting points. If someone is honest with me and appreciative, I will go out of my way to make them feel special.
