Greetings! My name is Chris, but my friends call me Forch [feel free to ask why and I will tell you!], I am 35, and I live in the bustling metropolis of Welland [live, not from], and I have just ended a stint as a professional student, and currently operate as writer, a freelance reporter and "head" popcorn jockey at a movie theatre! What does that mean? It means I went to school to better myself and working to support myself and my family, I haven't gotten to where I need to be, but I am on my way.
I am a father of one magnificent young girl, who is the most important person in my life. She is my primary focus, my education and work being my second. I have her 50 per cent of the time, so I do have a lot of free time to fill, hence why I am on here. I could fill in my entire profile just talking about her, but it’s supposed to be about me, so here goes.
I am looking for someone to compliment my life, not hinder it. Someone that I can start off with as a friend, and hopefully have something blossom out of it. Too many times have I come across a number of women on here that say they want one thing, and actually pursue something entirely different.
I am a highly intelligent man, who has dreams and goals in life he wants to achieve, and although he’s had to take a few steps back, due to the economy, still has a few tricks up his sleeve, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel starting to stare him in the face.
Now I am not the type that needs someone in his life. I have been single for early four years now, and I have gotten along just fine. Would I like someone in my life? Well of course I would, that is why I am here. I’m not willing to settle for anyone less than what I feel that I deserve. I am not a narcissist, honestly. I am a nice guy, who has a general idea of what he wants. Perhaps not exactly, but I am not willing to settle for just anything or anyone.
That being said, I am a man. Take me for what I am. Too many women on this site want to pigeon-hole people without first getting to know them. Far too many times have I gotten the ol' "You're just like every other guy on here," yet, I haven't even met the person in real life. Don't judge me until you meet me, and I will reserve the same for you. The fact is, you're getting something completely different with me, and sure, it may not be what you want, but I am a nice guy, I say stupid things, but I am a good person, with eccentricities and a little charm.
Additional: I just want to make mention on here, that if you're the type of person that wants to give you the 'ol "You're a nice guy, but...." line, I really don't want to hear from you. I want to meet someone who's serious about meeting someone who is nice, but not saying that they want a nice guy, even though they want something entirely different. I'm sick of getting played on here.
I am not looking for a purely sexual relationship. I'm not a teenager anymore, and I don't want to pretend to be. I want to feel that excited feeling when I see that special person, the butterflies if you will, and I want that other person to feel that too, but I also don't want someone so clingy, that if we're apart for more than two days, my facebook profile is literally stalked, examined and pulled apart.
I also don't want someone who feels the need to do "Creative photography" for their profile pics. Too many times have I met someone who looks nothing like their photos because they have to take it from such an angle as to make them look completely different. I don't need to see you from an elevated vantage point so I can see just cleavage and your face, sans any semblance of a blemish/imperfection. If you can't be yourself, then I probably don't want to meet you. I am exactly what I "pretend" to be, you should be the same. That being said, I would also appreciate it if you have at least one photo of yourself. I have taken the time to show photos of myself, I would expect the same in return.
Am I the perfect guy? No one is. I make mistakes like everyone else. I was born with a speech impediment, which makes me have to think four words ahead before I speak, in order to prevent myself from muddling my words. What this does, is sometimes allows words to come out unfiltered, and they sound wrong.

-I've acted in movies, commercials and in television, and I have a profile on iMDB.
-I collect toys, action figures, movies, movie posters and a bunch of other stuff.
-My favorite color is Orange.
-I love baseball.
-I play wii when I get the chance, and I enjoy Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
-I am a very good cook, and I clean as well.
-I am able to find humor in a lot of different places.
-I am probably the biggest Doctor Who fan you'll ever meet.
-I have a dream to be able to work as a Game Show host.
-My Three favorite musical acts are: Huey Lewis and the News, KISS, and "Weird Al" Yankovic.
-I wear Running shoes every day, I do own a pair of dress shoes, which I wear for work.
-I make the world's greatest Grilled Cheese!
-I once ate 105 chicken wings at a single sitting.
-I have no tattoos or piercings.

First Date
I'm easy when it comes to first meeting. I think that the optimum setting would be one where we can converse, get to know each other a bit better, to see if we mesh, and take things from there. Whether it's a walk, sitting in a park and talking. It doesn't really matter.
