First Date
I'm a little old-fashioned. Despite the fact that this concept is greatly overused, I still like to go with the "dinner and a movie" theme. The idea is to be comfortable, so I like my dates to choose a rendezvous point. We can chat over lunch/dinner and really get an idea on where we stand with each other. After the movie, we pretty much call it a night (unless she's up for dancing or something) and, if all goes well, make plans to meet again. Trust me, I actually call after a first date. I realize this makes me sound boring, but I feel it's better to be honest than to try and live up to some "great expectation" and fail miserably.
