Hi there! I am a 50 years young lady, who is divorced and is ready to meet that special someone. I have 1 adult daughter and 1 granddaughter who is the apple of my eye. I am very easy going, laid back person. I am a Christian and it would be great to meet someone with the same beliefs. I love gardening, bike riding, camping, fishing, I just love the outdoors. I enjoy walks on the beach and I really love Laughlin turnarounds and Las Vegas. I enjoy the hotels and buffets and if you are lucky enough to see a show. I enjoy spending time with family and cooking and barbequing for them. I worked for 26 years for one of the largest communications companies and as of a few months ago I am retired. I'm seriously thinking of going back to school and starting a new career. We shall see what happens in the future. I love looking at harley davidson's and the people who ride them. LOL They are such beautiful works of art. I just wish I wasn't so afraid of riding. I would like to meet a nice, kind man who is his own man and not governed by his boys and what they have to say. I like a tender, loving man but he has to be stronger than me. I am a very strong woman and the man I meet has to be able to deal with a strong minded, real person, I guess thats a good word for me "real". I just wants a real man, who loves the Lord and is not ashamed to say so. I want someone who isn't afraid to show his emotions and doesn't judge a person by the cover. I look to the intent of the heart because at this age we all have imperfections and I don't ask for perfection. Just be real, please !! Accept a person for the goodness and kindness in their hearts not for a drop dead gorgeuous body or super model looks. LOL. Sure we all want someone who looks decent, thats a given, but a strong manly man, with a bad boy vibe, who is really a genuine, nice, good person is what I desire.
It would be nice to meet up for coffee or dessert some time just to break the ice. When it come to first dates I guess I am traditional. I like the usual, dinner or drinks, maybe a show or comedy club. I would love a nice walk on the beach or just a ride to talk and get to know each other. I like skating also or a bike ride. There are so many things a person can do on a first date. Some men are under the impression he has to spend his entire bankroll on a lady the first date but that's not true. If you find out some of her favorite foods or snacks and pack a little picnic, thats always a sweet gesture. You can always find a free concert in a park to enjoy. I love museums and art. I love vintage anything especially cars. Take me to a car show, thats fun. Or maybe you can go to the gym together or walk around the mall. Concerts are fun and so are plays. We could even watch classic movies together or a marathon of some of our favortie shows on tv. These are just suggestions and I wanted you to know I'm not a gold digger. I can appreciate quality time with a guy and it doesn't have to be measured by quantity, if you know what I mean.
