About Me
It seems for some important...but I am actually an Aries?
Well back and looking to try again.....So what does one say in reality?
Been around this site a couple of times...but I am now looking for what is right...as opposed to looking for something....because I do not need to have someone....I would enjoy having someone if the situation was right...I enjoy quality time with people as opposed to simply needing to be with someone.
I am or have been the primary parent...but that is rapidly coming to a close so soon I will no longer have to be home each and every night. One has been in university for a year now and the second is a couple years away from that....so long distant opportunities are not really there for consideration...I already do +50,000km per year for work.
I am looking for a situation where I will be able to travel and do things again for me in the near future...as in when the mood strikes...jump on a plane and go somewhere....something I did in a different stage of life.......what would be great was if this could be shared with someone who was of similar mind...and availability.
Goals...aspirations...to enjoy the next few decades doing things....travelling to places I have not been to...yet....and if possible doing these things with an individual who is enjoyable company and who is entertaining and self reliant.
I have no need to date passive woman who are to be controlled...and I do not need a person who has the requirement to be the one in control....I enjoy good conversation and someone who is interactive.
I also will suggest I am no longer interested in dating someone who is not working...I pay my way in life...and would prefer someone who does the same...I still have financial requirements in terms of my children...I do not need further financial obligations to assume.....perhaps a little harsh...but what the heck....Nothing wrong with stating something that will ultimately be a stumbling block.....and yes...I understand some might view this as harsh...but some woman equally wish the same...and why not have it right out in the open so no one wastes their time?
Couple things I am not looking for....
1. Recently separated - my opinion is you are dating, but really have nothing to offer until the door is shut. First year is play year. You have spent years probably in a relationship you have hated so go out and have fun, but not here….....I already went through this stage...and I was honest with those who I was dating.
2. One of the complexities of this forum is how to get to know someone and getting through the chaff...one line answers or questions suggest someone is either too busy or has a host of emails in which they need to answer and go through.

First Date
A first date....a lunch or a simple coffee to see and talk to see if the person behind the screen is the same person who one meets...both in appearance and in character.
