Time to update:
So I've now lived in Vancouver for two years and can't believe how much stuff I have yet to do!! I'm starting to get more adventurous and even recently enrolled in a Spanish class to expand my horizons a bit. I also just got a puppy who has become my whole life. He is AWESOME!!!
A bit about moi: I'm an extremely hard-working, independent woman. When I want something, I bust my hump to get it. I'm pretty determined when I want to be. When I'm not working hard, I like to let loose and be silly. This weekend I threw a birthday party and it was no one's birthday. Thought my nieces would love that!! I'm very compassionate and often see things everyone's side to understand all the emotions in a situation. I'm not a fan of blame and don't see the point in grudges. Life's too short to be mad or bitter.
What I'm looking for: You should have a steady job, enjoy being active (i.e. rollerblading, hiking, biking), have a sense of humour (it's a necessity), not embarrass easily (like I said, I'm silly), be the type who can let things roll off your back, be willing to apologize when you're wrong and most of all...have the capability to trust. You also must LOVE travel and have a need to explore the planet. It simply amazes me how much is out there to see.
Couple things: I'm not a fan of people who use the word "hate". Way too many people waste time talking about all the things they hate. Who cares? Also, if you can't handle an independent woman with a great career who owns a home, lifts weights and can fix almost anything around the house, then you can't handle me! Also, I don't drink. So you'll have to be creative and think of something other than getting drunk...

Let's go pretend we're tourists and stand in the middle of the sidewalk with big maps and look super confused...then we can ask people if they know where West Edmonton Mall is. Or how about the space needle...
