About Me
When it comes to my life, I get a lot of joy and inspiration from music. As a result I pursue a career in music and am constantly working toward the goal of becoming a successful touring musician. I graduated from University with a music performance degree and I am now performing and teaching regularly throughout the city. My music library includes jazz, county, funk, soul, r&b, motown, ethnic, Classic Rock, and folk to name a few. As a singer, I try to emulate all of those styles depending on the performance.
Travelling is something I love to do and have had the incredible experiences of working on a horse farm in Ireland, studying language in Iceland, singing with a big band in Germany, lounging on the beach in Mexico, networking music contacts in NYC and attending a horse-show for fun in Oklahoma City to name a few! All of my experiences have had a direct impact on me and are something I will not forget, nor take for granted!
I am definitely a tomboy! Don't get me wrong, I can rock a pair of heels, but I grew up riding horses, driving motorcycles & cars (taught most of my friends to drive stick) and being out in the country getting dirty. I love to wrestle, am VERY strong "for a girl" and proud of it! However, that doesn't mean I don't want to feel protected. I would like very much to find a man who isn't intimidated by a strong and independent woman.
My general character is witty and playful, as I try not to take things too seriously! Someone who has a great sense of humour and understands what an incredible drug laughter is would be ideal. Someone with their own aspirations, drive, independence and sense of self-worth is sexy to me.
