I like being active, especially in the spring/summer months with walking and tennis.

I have a college education and truly enjoy working in my field. I travel occasionally in my job ... but rather enjoy travelling on vacation ... especially to hot, sunny beaches!!! :)
I love to dance, attend concerts, live theatre, sporting events, movies, camping, and getting together with friends for patio dinners, special occasion parties ... and whenever we can make an excuse for a get together! (which tends to happen on a weekly basis)!
I desire to meet someone compatible with my humor, energy, ideals, and overall outlook on life, love, sex and happiness. That doesn't mean we need to be of the SAME mind ... it means that we need to have common ground on which to build a relationship. My past serious relationships have been few and far between. Don't let the "Longest Relationship = over 2 years" status fool you! Circumstance and timing have not been kind to me in that regard. I am serious about a stable relationship ... not just dating until the next one comes along.
I believe we need to see each other as a positive and/or balancing influence in our lives. When you already have a happy lifestyle why bring someone into your life if their presence won't enhance it ... or bring joy to it ... in some significant way (ie. shared laughter, interest and intellect ... etc.)
My friends and family would describe me as a very open, giving and patient person ... (sometimes patient to a fault). I am a positive person who sees the glass as ALWAYS "half-full". I tend to trust and give people the benefit of the doubt ...because I believe that we all strive to be the best person that we can be. My quest is to meet someone who looks for a partner ... not just someone to "have" because they are afraid there won't be another chance. Let’s get to know one another… build on the closeness.

A coffee date or walk in the park is the usual "meet and greet". But a first date is better with a live theatre play, tennis match, pool/darts challenge, or homemade dinner...
