Plenty Of Fish has been a wonderful site for me and I hope it will bring you the same gifts in the very near future. Although I am always open for new friendships I remain here mostly to plug my catering business, which I started up over two years ago. I use to cook for all my close friends for free...pity you didn't know me back then. I now cater private parties, weddings, BBQ's, birthdays and anniversary parties and I have worked on a few movies as well. Across the Universe and back again....sometimes that is how long or how far it feels like when trying to find deep and meaningful love. However long or however far...enjoy the journey and worry less about what happens at the end of it....well that is my take on this whole adventure and I am sticking to it! I am lucky to be in-love and to be loved and appreciated back...it continues to be an amazing journey that I hope never ends.
My dog is a 7 year old Weimaraner named Ozzy and we come as a pair...Ozzy is fast, fit and a total cuddle bug. I am not as fast, not as fit and a total cuddle bug too! Are you starting to get the picture?
So by now you should have figured out that I am a old school romantic and an active individual. I would also like to think of myself as a climber, always pushing onwards to grow more as a person, a father and a partner. I love to read, find people that inspire me, and surround myself with loyal and loving friends. I have found many new friends in the past few years who have truly inspired me and this has allowed me to grow in leaps and bounds.
If I was asked about how I would describe myself I would have to say a mix between Agent 86 - Maxwell Smart and Fred Flintstone. Wait!...hold up....think about it, its not so bad! Okay they were a bit bumbly and had a bit of a edge but they were loyal, loving, childishly charming, individual and caring men that happened to be very funny by sheer accident. I did manage to meet my Agent 99 here on POF that valued these qualities.
What I am looking for?: Friends! You can tell from my interests that I have a wide range of things I like to do with my free time. I have this lethal problem that I don't like to engage in them alone...well there are a few that can only be done by yourself. I meant reading for all of you with your head in the gutter! I like well traveled, educated, elegant and sophisticated women that are attractive, love to take good care of themselves and know how to enjoy the finer things in life. I connect well with people that have a big hearts, a youthful edge, and that are able to laugh at themselves and the world around them.

I think if you have gone to all this trouble to find someone that might be special then treat them as being special by doing something fun, engaging but still personable and warm....well thats my outlook anyways.
Not such good ideas for places for a first date:
- Sarah Palin fund raiser
- Sperm donor clinic (blood donor clinics are okay!)
- Hospital rooms or cafeteria, specially in BC
- Family reunions, specially when dad slips you the tongue
- Strip club or adult theater...well unless you are PeeWee Herman
- Churches, Synagogues, Mosks or Temples
- Jails/lock-ups or line-ups...well unless you are forced too and into the same sex
- Sewers, Drains, garbage dumps or water treament facilities
- Courts...you have to wait until your into a relationship for that
- Doctor/Dental Offices
- Unemployment line
- Dinner with the ex (well da!)
- Did I say cemetaries, funeral homes or crematoriums?
- East Hastings St. food line...not because the food isn't any good...
- fishing on a sinking boat (wait at least for the second date to go swimming)

 | Well just could not help join the Bandito testimonial club. I have know Ira for about a year from my hiking group. Here's what I can honestly say about him. He has a fabulous sense of humour, kind, considerate, a devoted dad, a great dancer. He's been a great friend to hike, laugh, drink wine with, share group dinners..did I mention he makes the best Ceasar Salad ever...God Ira you are starting to sound perfect. I hope when some lady snatches you up I get to still be your friend and maybe hers as well. Lucky lady who gets this man!!!!! |

Sharp, funny, I got to follow him around and just post that I agreed with what he said (MOST of the time..hehe). Saved me SO much typing!! I did then get to know him personally, as many ladies here have and did fall for his amazing charm and wit. He's a man so easy to love, a dear friend always.
