A propos de moi
My name is SarahMarie. Yes, one word.
And no, Marie is not my middle name.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, so this is very much home to me.
I enjoy a pretty active lifestyle, but also know when to relax. I enjoy running half marathons, road biking, tailgating/football games (if you're a Raider fan, this may never work), snowboarding, hiking, etc. Sunbathing, reading and and pedicures are nice too. I LIVE for Summer. I LOVE the sun and the beach. I also just bought a motorcycle, which I would prefer to ride in warmer weather :)
I'm a pretty bold personality. And very "type B". I say what is on my mind, and I enjoy spontaneity over an agenda. I chronically run 10 minutes late (except to work). My major commitments are to my job and my dog. I work as a critical care nurse, and my schedule allows me the time to ENJOY life. I absolutely love my job, but I will never be the person who lives to work. Life is WAY too short.
I take the time to nurture my relationship with God, just like any other relationship. In order for it to grow, you have to make time. I look forward to weekly church service. Aside from that, the hardest thing is making time everyday. Yes, life gets busy, but either it's a priority in your life, or it isn't. I try my best.
I LOVE to travel and I'm blessed to be able to do so. My big 2012 trip was to Japan. I think 2013 may lead me to Australia or Spain. There is a lot of world out there that I can't wait to explore!!!
Ideally, my match would be someone educated, goal oriented, with similar interests and a charming sarcastic wit. Corny humor and cliche romance make me cringe inside.
A charismatic personality is HUGE to me. Looks can only go so far....BUT- speaking of looks, there needs to be a very basic level of attraction.
A couple quick tips:
1- Please post at least ONE picture WITHOUT sunglasses, WITHOUT a hat, and SMILING! You're not fooling anyone, sir. If you're balding and have crooked teeth- either embrace it or fix it.
2- Get out of the bathroom and put your shirt
back on. It's just flat out, tacky. A poolside picture would be more appropriate. We all know the REAL point of your poolside picture.
ALSO, PLEASE NOTE:
1- Proper grammar is sexy.
2- If you e-mail me one-liners, such as, "Hey baby" or "Nice smile," I will probably delete it, with just as much thought as you put into writing it.
I'm open to dating and seeing where it goes. I'm also fine with just making new friends....
And by FRIENDS, I mean, no ulterior motives and please keep your hands to yourself.
