A propos de Taylor
I just returned from Japan after living there for four years. I loved my time there, but was ready to return home to become a high school social studies teacher. Currently, I am in the process of getting my masters degree. One of my goals in life is to have my own classroom so I can make this world a better place by educating the youth of America. I like to set the bar low for myself :)
POF said I should write about my hobbies to be successful, so here it goes. My hobbies are hiking, cooking, scuba diving, going to comedy shows, and watching/playing sports. Portland is great for hiking, not so great for scuba diving. I have really gotten into comedy shows since moving back to Portland, especially Helium. After seeing Bob Saget do comedy I really wish he could have been my dad throughout the 90's (although he kind of already was, thanks Danny Tanner!). I also fantasize about which country I'd like to visit next. I've traveled to quite a few countries the past few years, so I have the travel bug. I hope you have the travel bug too!
I've often wondered what makes me more unique than others on this site (is it possible to be more unique? Isn't unique already special?). I've been told that I'm hilarious, a nice guy, and a fun person to be around. Does that make someone unique? You tell me. No, seriously, tell me. Overall, I hope to meet someone that is down to earth, enjoys laughter and life, and wants the same things as me in life.
I guess this is the part that I say what I'm looking for, right? I am definitely looking for something long term, with the potential for the whole kids/marriage package. I'm not trying or looking to jump into that right away, but if we click then I'm definitely not opposed to something serious. Basically I'm not looking for a short term thing, so if we both feel that it's not a good match then I'd rather move on until we both find someone we do vibe with. I have no idea if that person is really on a website, but hey, it's worth a shot.
