I was done with the dating scene around my small town and figured I'd give online dating a try. I had been on the site for a couple years before I stumbled apon Matts page. I message him first not thinking he'd reply back but he did. We began chatting online and texting for a few weeks before our first date. We first met back in 2009 and now almost 4 years later we are engaged to be married in 2014. I am so happy I decided to try online dating because I wouldn't have found my love.

I caught sight of a cute cowboy and a couple weeks of the usual "first" questions, we met in a park and just talked and talk until the sun went down, where he asked me to be his girlfriend. during the winter we skyped to keep in touch since he lived on the other side of the mountain. Spring came and we got to see more of each other, then May came and he proposed. then 5 months later we were walking down the isle and we've been cheesily married ever since. i hope the honeymoon stage never ends!

I had been on and off POF and almost decided to give it up for good, but then I gave it one last try and I am so glad that I did. It was as simple as a 'Hey you ;)' and then from that, it excelled. As soon as Dave and I first started going out on dates we knew we were going to marry each other. Just something about him fit me perfectly and I, him. Although we are 6 years apart in age, that didn't stop anything and hasn't. If anything we love it; I love to call him old and he finds it attractive he got a younger woman. I would do anything for him and him for me. Thank you POF!

I never thought I could meet someone offline and end up getting engaged to them so quickly... I was with this guy for a little over 3 years but we went our separate ways after we both realized that we were just not good for one another - we didn't seem to get along at the end and wanted completely different lifestyles.
