I have my career — I'm a sports editor for a daily paper — heading in the right direction, and now I want a social life to match. I absolutely love to have fun and love to laugh, but I also know when it's appropriate to be serious. I'm full of quirks, and I'd love to meet other folks who have plenty of them as well.
I'm extremely ambitious and goal-oriented and generally seek the same in potential partners. I'd like to keep moving up the chain in my field and ultimately fulfill my dream of writing a book. I can be a bit of a workaholic, which is why I'd like to balance out my life with more of a social scene. I've been in Cullman about about two years now. A lot of people say there's not much to do, but I can pretty much have fun doing anything. Head to the park, go see a movie, head out of town, go out, stay in, you name it. For me, it's not about what you're doing, it's about who you're with.
Big on music (B.o.B, Manchester Orchestra, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, Dashboard Confessional and too many others to name. Watch a few TV shows (Parks and Rec, Big Bang Theory, Walking Dead, Big Brother, Wilfred, Dexter, The Big C, etc.). Also like to read (Barbara Kingsolver's "The Lacuna" is my favorite). I could go on and on about my interests, so feel free to ask.
