Acerca de mí
Although I was born and raised in Southern California, I recently moved back to Chino Hills from Chicago, where I was working on my Master's Degree. So, I'm on this site to see what's out there.
As far as an "About Me" section goes, here's a little sampling:
--I love sports (Green Bay Packers, Chicago Fire, White Sox and Blackhawks) and still love playing soccer in my free time
--I'm kind of an American history junky
--I'm educated: BA in American Studies from Cal-State Fulleton and MA in Sports Admin from Northwestern University (Go Wildcats)
--I love to cook and bake...and clean
--I love music. Country is my favorite, but I love a lot of stuff from Alternative to Classic Rock to Top 40. Bon Jovi is my favorite band.
--I love to read and write
--I love hot cups of tea and movies and cuddling on rainy days
--I love being outdoors in that I like hiking and being surrounded by nature and camping.
--I love traveling and roadtrips...I've driven along Route 66 roundtrip twice...and I look forward to seeing as many places as possible
--I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl who prefers bars over clubs
--I know who I am and I'm not that girl who changes based on what my partner wants
--I love tattoos and have several
--I am not religious
--I am independent, low-key and low-maintenence, and I am not the jealous type
--I love my family and friends
As far as what I'm looking for in a guy, for starters:
--You should be educated. And by educated, I mean you should have a college degree
--You love sports, and can at least tolerate soccer
--You have a great sense of humor and can be sarcastic
--You understand what it means to be respectful while still understanding that not all women are fragile creatures and need to be treated as such
--You have great friends and family
--You have some of the same interests as me
--You're over the party scene
--You either aren't religious or if you are, you honestly don't care if I'm not
--On a purely "my dream guy would look like" basis, you look like a scruffy mountain man that has tattoos and likes to wear flannel (this is totally not required, however)
